Cookie season is up! Though pretty hard to believe, we have reached the end of November. And this challenge marked the start of my holiday baking. We were asked to bake from a list of 12 cookies, and I chose seven layers because they are so cute!
Happy Day of the Dead! We don’t celebrate it here, but you know I can’t pass on the opportunity to make cute goodies! I kept them simple since I was also busy making ghost cake pops these week (those won’t make it to the blog but my coworkers enjoyed them!).
Guess what. Spring is officially here! And it calls for colorful cookies. Cause don’t know about you, but I’m tired of all that pumpkin talk :P

I’ve been thinking about these cookies for so long, I don’t remember if they’re gingerbread because I wanted dark kitties, or if they’re dark kitties because I wanted gingerbread. You may think it’s weird to make gingerbread in September. I don’t. And you won’t either, once you try this one.
