It’s time for another Sourdough Surprises challenge! This month, we were asked to make gozleme, which is a traditional Turkish dish. It’s made with a dough (which can be made with or without yest) which is rolled out thinly, spread with some filling, and folded, to make some sort of flat parcel. The most interesting part is that they are then cooked on a griddle, so they only take a few minutes!
Hi guys! I’m back with another Daring Bakers’ challenge. This time we made Pão de Queijo :) A Brazilian delicacy, just in time for the World cup!
Hi guys! I’m happy to tell you that I’ve joined a new baking group :) Sourdough Surprises!
Hi guys! It’s been a while but I’m back with another Daring Bakers challenge :) This time we were asked to make either crackers, or crispy flatbread. Since we had made crackers not so long ago, I went with the flatbread, and made a crisped up version of pizza bread (which is basically a plain pizza dough, usually topped with herbs and a little cheese).
I’ve been making homemade buns for my hot dogs for a while, and they’re sooo good. They make every hot dog come to life, even if it’s plain with fat reduced sausages.
I usually eat mine with just ketchup and maybe potato chips if there are some around. But for this occasion I fancied them up with cheese and bacon.
