Hoy les traigo una receta de helado que está muuuy buena: helado de pastel de tres leches. Para los que no lo sepan el pastel de tres leches es un postre que consiste en una torta (generalmente un bizcochuelo) bañada con una mezcla de 3 leches, que generalmente tiene leche condensada, crema, y leche evaporada (que yo la reemplazo por leche común ya que acá no se usa mucho la leche evaporada). A algunas personas no les gusta porque consideran que está muy mojada, pero a mi me encanta.
Sé que es medio raro que recién suba una receta de helado ahora, a días de empezar el otoño. Es que este verano no hice muchos helados (y eso que conseguí los palitos de repuesto para el Zoku!). Por suerte para mi, como helado todo el año. Los que estén entrando en primavera lo podrán aprovechar y los que no, bueno, también.
Yo en realidad no puedo esperar a que llegue el otoño. Todavía no hice mi pie de ciruela pero ya estoy lista para usar pulloveres, tomar leche caliente y pisar hojas secas. Me encanta pisar hojas secas y también patear pilas de hojas, aunque trato de no hacerlo por consideración a quien las haya barrido (aunque nunca entendí, para que barrés las hojas si no las vas a juntar??). Además uno nunca sabe cuando se va a encontrar un yunque marca acme en medio de una inocente pila de hojas (sí, veo muchos dibujitos).
Ah, y también me tienen cansada los mosquitos.
Pero volvamos al helado. Esta receta es muy fácil, solo hay que mezclar todo y pasarlo por la máquina de helado. Para los pedacitos de torta pueden usar una premezcla, que es lo que yo hice, o usar una torta que hayan comprado por ahí. La base les va a parecer que no es muy dulce, pero mezclado con la torta queda perfecto, y sabe justo como un pastel de tres leches. Así que si les gusta la torta, les recomiendo que prueben el helado. Bueno, si no les gusta también, y si no sabían lo que era, lo mismo. No se van a decepcionar :)
Helado de pastel de tres leches
Receta de Sabor Pastel
Rinde: 1 1/2 lt
1 taza de leche condensada
1 taza de crema
1 taza de leche
2 1/2 tazas de cubitos de torta de vainilla (preferentemente congelados)
1. En una jarra mediana, mezclar la leche condensada, la crema, y la leche. Refrigerar hasta que esté frío (si los ingredientes ya estaban fríos, no hace falta refrigerar).
2. Verter en una máquina de helado y turbinar hasta que alcance la consistencia de helado soft (si no tienen máquina de helado, lo ponen en el freezer y lo baten cada 1 hora, hasta que tenga la consistencia deseada).
3. Agregar los pedacitos de torta y congelar.
