Guess what. Spring is officially here! And it calls for colorful cookies. Cause don’t know about you, but I’m tired of all that pumpkin talk :P
So, if you’re happy about going into autumn, then I’m happy for you. But if you’re not, try these funfetti cookies. They’re so easy!
Just grab a vanilla cake mix, some butter and eggs, lots of sprinkles, and turn them into yummy cookies. I guess you could also use a cookie mix… but where’s the fun in that??
Or, if you are embracing the first days of fall indeed, you can use a spice cake mix. Joined by some chocolate chips or nuts, since you clearly need more calories to survive the cold weather.
Me, I’m fine with vanilla and sprinkles. Although I may try a pumpkin recipe one of these days… I’ve been brainwashed.
Cake mix cookies
1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
2. Mix the cake mix, eggs, butter and vanilla and beat for 2 minutes.
3. Mix in the sprinkles.
4. Shape the dough into 1 1/2 in balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and covered in baking spray, at least 2 1/2 in apart.
5. Bake for 12 minutes.
Oh, and by the way… Spy anything in this picture? Yeah, besides Loli. It’s my new Sprinkle Bakes book :D It arrived this week and I love it already. Can’t wait to try it!
